Guwahati: On the occasion of death anniversary of Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar), Valmiki Sangeet Vidyalay, run by Dr Hedgewar Memorial Trust – which has been working for education, health and reforms in various under-developed localities of northeast India, has organised a cultural show titled সমতাৰ ছন্দেৰে জীৱনৰ জয়গান (celebrating life with equality) on 4 December at Sonaram playground in Bharalu locality of the city.

The function, beginning at 3 pm sharp, will witness the performance of Bhortaal Nritya by 200 students and Sattriya dances by 500 students with other programs. Khagen Saikia, secretary of Dr Hedgewar Memorial Trust and Shiva Basfore, reception committee secretary informed that a large number of sanitation worker’s families, religious preachers, academicians, writers, artistes and honoured citizens from various fields will grace the occasion.
