Solan: Shoolini University, in collaboration with Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), organised a health camp to commemorate International Women’s Day at the Milkha Singh Complex at Shoolini University. 

The health camp on Women’s Day represented a significant step towards promoting comprehensive health and well-being within the university community.

The health camp saw participation from over 100 faculty, staff, and students of Shoolini University, who benefited from the services of medical professionals across various specialties at MMU.

Doctors from MMU Hospital, including Dr. Tushar, Dr. Priya, Dr. Pulkit Bhatnagar, and Dr. Ridhima, provided their expertise across four key departments: medicine, orthopaedics, gynaecology, and hthalmology. The medical team, which also includes an eye technician, pharmacist, five staff nurses, and a PRO, ensured attendees received thorough and attentive care.

The health camp also introduced an innovative component by partnering with the Yogananda School of Spirituality and Happiness, enhancing the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of the participants.

Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Dean of Student Welfare, emphasised the need to focus on men’s health as much as women’s. She was happy with the participation of male students and faculty.
