Shimla: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old boy was allegedly stripped naked and beaten up by a shopkeeper in Himachal. The incident took place in Rohru, Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. Later, the boy’s father, Naresh Kumar, filed a complaint at the local police station.
As per the reports, the boy was frequent at the grocery store. Reportedly, the shop owner was upset about the theft from his shop for the past few days. The shopkeeper accused the boy of theft and started beating him. The shopkeeper stripped the boy naked for theft. The shopkeeper further allegedly sprinkled chilli powder on his eyes.
Police have registered a case under sections IPC 341, 323, and Sec. 75 Juvenile Justice Act. DSP Rohru Police confirmed that the case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing. The boy’s father said that he had been falsely blamed and may have just touched a few things.
