    Shoolini University: Student Research Council Set to Redefine Learning

    Solan: In a groundbreaking move aimed at fostering student-led innovation, Shoolini University proudly inaugurated its Student Research Council (SRC). The visionary behind this initiative is none other than Anitya Kumar Gupta, and under his leadership, the council is poised to become a dynamic platform that nurtures student research, collaboration, and creativity.

    The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished speakers who shared their invaluable insights and experiences. Among these luminaries were Shoolini University’s illustrious founder and Chancellor, Prof. PK Khosla; the erudite Dean of Research and Development, Prof. Saurabh Kulshreshtha; the dynamic President of Innovation and Marketing, Ashish Khosla; the astute Chief Learning Officer, Dr. Ashoo Khosla; the accomplished President and Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, Munish Sahrawat; the esteemed Dean of Engineering, Prof. Virendra Rihani; and the proficient Assistant Professors, Puneet Kapoor and Arwind Sharma.

    In a resounding declaration of his commitment to advancing academia, Prof. PK Khosla announced a generous allocation of Rs 5 Lakh as special funds dedicated to the Student Research Council. He extolled the students for their unwavering dedication and innovative ideas, urging them to contribute to research endeavors that would propel the world forward.

    Dean Kulshreshtha, in his address, stressed the importance of interdisciplinary research that transcends the boundaries of STEM fields. He underscored how research could have a profound societal impact, shaping a brighter and more promising future through collective academic efforts.

    President Ashish Khosla took the stage, emphasizing the pivotal role of curiosity in fostering innovation. Drawing inspiration from history’s luminaries such as Newton and Einstein, he encouraged students to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving, transcending conventional boundaries.

    Dr. Ashoo Khosla, the Chief Learning Officer, imparted a timeless adage to the students, “God helps those who help themselves,” elucidating the essence of prioritization. She underscored the importance of allocating time from busy schedules to focus on resolving common problems, a crucial step in the pursuit of knowledge.

    Munish Sahrawat, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, shed light on the significance of teamwork, underscoring the pivotal role effective communication and unwavering dedication play in forming a cohesive unit. His insights illuminated the path to successful research collaboration.

    Prof. Virendra Rihani, the Dean of Engineering, delved into the dual benefits of research, elucidating its transformative potential. Meanwhile, Assistant Professors Puneet Kapoor and Arwind Sharma offered valuable insights into the preparatory aspects of research. They urged budding researchers to engage with review papers before embarking on their research projects, emphasizing the importance of a strong foundation.

    Exciting news also emerged during the ceremony, as it was announced that the Student Research Council would soon collaborate with the Government of India. This upcoming partnership aims to amplify the council’s reach and impact on a national scale, heralding a new era of student-driven research in India.
